The Gunnison Valley is an amazing place to call home. I first came to Crested Butte in 1990 after graduating from the University of Washington. I quickly fell in love with the community captivated by the historic mountain town vibe, legendary mountain bike trails and great backcountry and nordic skiing. Years later, I can safely say that Crested Butte has done what many Colorado mountain towns didn’t do. We’ve kept our identity and preserved our lifestyle. We still don’t have a parking meter or a stoplight. The locals walk or ride townie bikes to get the mail, grab a coffee or go to the movies. The hand-painted skier shuttle bus is still free to ride between the ski resort and town. I am very fortunate to be in the real estate business in Crested Butte. Working with people that share a similar affinity for this place gives me tremendous satisfaction.
We all have our reasons why we first ventured to Crested Butte. Perhaps those same reasons are why some of us chose to stay and call this place home. What are your reasons for learning about Crested Butte? Are you looking to make a lifestyle investment?I welcome the opportunity to help you with the process.
