Welcome Christy L. Andrisen to the LIV SIR Team

At LIV Sotheby’s International Realty, our people make the difference and we are excited to expand the team with the newest addition of real estate professional, Christy L. Andrisen. Learn more about her and why she joined the LIV family:

What are you most excited about, with joining LIV Sotheby’s International Realty? While growing up in CT, John Marion and his family were neighbors and I babysat his daughter. At the time, he was Chairman of Sotheby’s in NYC. The company name always had a ring of prestige, synonymous with luxury and high-end art; this impressed me even at a young age. The culture is classic and professional. My Mom started her real estate career in CT with William Pitt Sotheby’s representing them until joining Devonshire upon our relocation to CO. I, too, want to surround myself with Sotheby’s agents from around the world.
How fortunate to travel in and outside of our hometown and run into someone we know along the way! In an airport, out at a restaurant, or even when visiting a museum or monument. Our life adventures often lead us down paths where we coincidently meet a friend or a friend of a friend. Representing LIV Sotheby’s Interallows me the opportunity to help friends sell or discover their new home anywhere in the world! The global networking opportunities among other Sotheby’s agents is tremendous.

What’s your favorite part about guiding your client through the real estate experience? Discovering solutions for my Buyers and Sellers, witnessing their expressions when they know they have discovered their new home, walking them through each step of the transaction, being present for them, and walking through life with my clients is so gratifying and such a privilege (be it their first time buying a home, relocating for a new job, getting engaged, married, adding a four-legged to the family, expanding their family with a baby on the way, moving closer to their children, downsizing, selling a property on behalf of a Trust or on behalf of their lost love one), helping them through these emotional stages of their life is an honor.

Another one of my favorite experiences is to visit a client’s home as they live in it- it gives me joy to know they are creating their perfect life in their new home.
My business is successful due to my loyal clients. I am grateful to walk through life with my clients- I often have the chance to work with them before and after they have met the love of their life!

What’s your favorite home trend right now? Defined rooms- where each room is designed with an intentional use- where families may have privacy and quiet time for completing homework, making business calls, playing games with family and friends, or even watching TV together. Sun-lit kitchens with ample space for a large round dining table and outdoor areas for dining and entertaining.

What’s your goal in the next three months? My dream is to vacation on a beach with family and friends.

What do you do for fun, outside of work? Craig and I are blessed to have family nearby, and for a change of scenery, we enjoy visits with family who live out of town. I cherish every moment with my family- traveling to my former hometown of Darien, CT to visit with my brother and his family and to Seattle, WA to visit with my sister, a former Real Estate Broker, and her family- I’m the fun Aunt to my 2 nieces and 3 nephews. My Mom, a retired Real Estate Broker, lives in town with her husband; Craig and I often gather for dinner with them. I enjoy cooking at home and dining al fresco; what a treat and a privilege to go to one of my favorite restaurants to be served by a remarkable hospitality team. Playing golf, working out at the Pilates studio, walking the dogs, and jogging through a variety of neighborhoods are just some of my favorite activities. During my downtime, I enjoy watching the Broncos play, reading Fiction, and watching old movies- any one starring Audrey Hepburn! We have two dogs, a pure bread Whoodle named Finley (half Poodle and half Wheaton Terrier) and Henry who is a rescue dog, and a mix of Carine Terrier, Schnauzer, and absolute cuteness!
