When the Room is the View – Closing Weekend of the 2015 Denver Designer Show House

The final opportunity to view the 2015 Denver Designer Show House takes place Saturday, October 3 and Sunday, October 4, marking the event’s closing weekend.

Referred to as the autumn design event of the season, the Denver Designer Show House features two distinct properties in the heart of Cherry Creek, which have been completely transformed by 18 of Denver’s top interior designers, adhering to a strict neutral or color palette theme.

The Show House kicked off with a bang during the event’s opening weekend September 25-27, at the freshly designed Show House located at 512 and 514 Cook Street. Over 150 guests were in attendance at the Show House opener, which was sponsored by LIV Sotheby’s International Realty and Luxe magazine.

Designers debuted stunning work at this year’s Show House, garnering the attention and praise of top design enthusiasts and the public that toured the Show House throughout the multi-weekend event.

“We are overwhelmed by the success of the 2015 Denver Designer Show House,” said LIV Sotheby’s International Realty managing broker, Shannel Ryan. “To see the hard work of this immensely talented and generous group of interior designers reach fruition is more than exciting. This year’s Show House is truly spectacular.”

The variety of creative styles offered by Denver’s top interior designers make this the year not to miss. Designers include Nadia Watts Interior Design, Post 31 Interiors, D+D Interiors, Knape & Zibell, Company KD, Waterworks, Andrea Schumacher Interiors, Duet Design Group, Quincy House Design, JB Noble Interiors, Ltd., Casey St. John Interiors, Carolyn Morris from Alvarez Morris, Megan Kane Interiors, The Brass Bed, Regan Mattingly of Chalet Colorado, Mitchell Gold, Atelier Interior Design and Currant Designs. Art curator, Ann Benson Reidy, returns to the Show House for her third year in a row, and has choreographed a diverse collection of fine art throughout the townhome.

The event benefits Children’s Hospital Colorado, a nonprofit hospital for children located on the Anschutz Medical Campus near the interchange of I-225 and Colfax Avenue in Aurora. Over $200,000 was raised by Denver Designer Show House in past years for the hospital and DDSH will add to those numbers in 2015.
