LIV SIR Announces 2015 Denver Designer Show House Participants

The upcoming 2015 Denver Designer Show House (DDSH): a Cherry Creek Experience, sponsored by LIV Sotheby’s International Realty, recently announced the complete list of designers that will showcase their work at the September 25 – 27 and October 2 – 4, 2015 tour event.

“We are thrilled to have such an immensely talented and generous group of interior designers who will be decorating rooms in this year’s Show House,” said LIV SIR broker and event organizer, Trish Bragg. “Their creativity will inspire everyone and we so appreciate their unique contribution to Children’s Hospital Colorado.”

This multi-weekend event will share the latest in interior design with the community by welcoming the public to tour two distinct properties in Cherry Creek that have been transformed by Denver’s top interior designers.

This year’s designers include Post 31 Interiors, D+D Interiors, Knape & Zibell, Waterworks, Andrea Schumacher Interiors, Duet Design Group, Quincy House Design, JB Noble Interiors, Ltd., Casey St. John Interiors, Carolyn Morris from Alvarez Morris, Megan Kane Interiors, The Brass Bed, Regan Mattingly of Chalet, Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams, Nadia Watts Interior Design, Atelier Interior Design, Regan Mattingly from Chalet Colorado, and Company KD. Art curator and consultant, Ann Benson Reidy, will be working with designers to place art from local galleries and artists throughout the homes.

This year’s show house features two identical townhomes, 512 and 514 Cook Street, both for sale, which each feature four levels of living, high ceilings, an elevator, and an abundance of natural light. The townhomes are mirror images of each other and start out free from existing furniture and décor. After the event, all furniture and art within the homes will be available for purchase.

This year’s home tour will feature a color palette selected by Sherwin Williams, which will set the stage for the designers to test their skills working within varying color mediums. One townhome will be designed with a neutral palate, and the other with color. The homes will then be stylized with furniture, lighting, rugs and accessories, all available for purchase after the event, by Denver’s top interior designers.

“It is a great experience to work with other designers to create a show home,” said Mikhail Dantes, D+D Interiors. “This will be our third show house event and we are honored to be a part of this great fundraiser again. Showcasing our interiors is an added bonus. We are always in pursuit of making a difference and if can do it with interiors, we are happy to do so.”

The event benefits Children’s Hospital Colorado, a nonprofit hospital for children located on the Anschutz Medical Campus near the interchange of I-225 and Colfax Avenue in Aurora. Over $200,000 was raised by Denver Designer Show House in past years for the hospital and DDSH hopes to match those numbers in 2015.

“I am so excited to be included in this group of very talented and creative Denver interior designers for this year’s LIV Sotheby’s International Realty’s Denver Designer Show House,” said Teresa Davis, Post 31 Interiors.”Not only do I look forward to seeing the beautiful work and innovative ideas, but also to have the honor of benefiting Children’s Hospital Colorado as well.”

The event kicks off with an Opening Night Cocktail Party Thursday, September 24, 2015. For more details on the home tour, preview party, and other unique offerings, visit
