“Summer Moon” Culinary Adventure Benefits Mount Evans Hospice, LIV SIR Supports

Haute cuisine and haut couture rubbed elbows at the Evergreen Lake House on Aug. 13 to benefit the Mount Evans Home Health Care & Hospice at the second annual celebration of fine food and savoir faire, “Under a Summer Moon.”

“Local businesses generate their livelihood from the community and giving back builds a stronger community for everyone,” said LIV Sotheby’s International Realty broker Heather Graham. “LIV Sotheby’s International Realty is proud to be involved with an agency that has touched so many lives.”

LIV Sotheby’s International Realty was a sponsor of the event, which featured 10 of the best chefs in the West, on loan from Colorado’s finest kitchens, who prepared and presented five courses to tables of 10 guests each.

This year’s gastronomical gala, chaired by famed Denver restaurateur Kevin Taylor, included encore performances by Front Range legends including Shaun Motoda of TAG Restaurant in Denver, renowned Colorado connoisseur Richard Bailey of Taste 5 Catering, and Evergreen’s own cuisinier extraordinaire, Curtis Lincoln of Willow Creek Restaurant. New toques on the menu belonged to first-tier alimentary artistes including Chef Daniel Lacounte of The Kitchen and Pippa Taylor of Denver’s Baur’s Restaurant.

After sumptuous offerings were enjoyed by all, guests and sponsors danced the night away to a swing orchestra band- all to benefit Mount Evans and their continued care in providing compassionate, professional care to mountain-area neighbors in need. For more information visit www.mountevans.org.
