Make A Fun Run To Vail-Lionshead This Weekend For Final Day Of Colorado Grandlivxmin
Looking for something fun to do in the Rocky Mountains this weekend? Why not make a Fun Run to Vail-Lionshead, Saturday, September 21st and admire the last day of the Colorado Grand – an annual charity tour for 1960 and earlier sports and race cars of distinction. This historic tour covers over 1,000 miles through the Rockies in five days.
2013 marks the 25th anniversary year for this remarkable event which has continued to provide serious help for Colorado Charities. To date, the event has contributed more than $3.6 million dollars. Every September at the peak of the fall color season approximately 85 vintage cars are driven in this relaxed, non-competitive event. Check out this year’s stock of vintage sports cars from before 1961 by clicking here.
Just a short route to Vail, car aficionados from all parts will congregate to see the cars finish the Colorado Grand. Of the 100+ cars registered, most are from out of state with some coming in from abroad. Enjoy the thrill of being one of the few to see 25 pre-war exotics, including 5 Bugattis and a host of pre-1961 exotic classics. There is no other opportunity to see automobiles of this quality in Colorado in one place at one time. Click here for more details.
