Pinterest Board Sparks Showing Requests

Unknown-1Pinterest is all the rage lately. From scoring the perfect dinner recipe to finding your next home, it’s the golden child of the marketing right now. Research shows that a combination of Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest are driving In-store and online sales. “If a picture is worth a thousand words, organizations using Pinterest  can say a lot about their products, services, brand values, culture and personality,” says Business Wire. Reports published on Entrepreneur.com state that one in three people who bought something they found on Pinterest had not considered making that purchase previously. And it’s not just retailers like Nordstrom that are altering their Pinterest strategies to drive sales.

In lieu of a traditional property website, the agent pinned the property photos to a no-cost Pinterest board and drove traffic to the board via a six dollar Facebook ad. The board sparked two showing requests within three minutes of posting it, and continued to garner on average a showing every other day.
