Social Media Madness For A Cause
Help Fuller Sotheby’s International Realty accelerate in the Denver Business Journal’s (DBJ) Social Madness competition for a cause! Social Madness is a one-of-a-kind competition that measures a company’s social media engagement. According to the DBJ, last year nearly 4,000 companies participated, together generating nearly three-quarters of a million votes, 14 million new Facebook likes, 2.2 million new Twitter followers, and more than 202,000 new LinkedIn Connections. Charities received $30,000 cash on behalf of our national champions.
Fuller Sotheby’s International Realty will be playing solely for Roundup River Ranch – the camp where kids with chronic and life-threatening illnesses can truly enjoy the joys of childhood for free – forever. The competition starts TODAY through July 9th on the local level. Local winners will move upward into competition against companies in other cities. Ultimately, three national winners will be selected on August 20th – based on size of their audience vs. the number of their employees – and DBJ will give $10,000 to each of their favorite organizations.
The proprietary Social Madness algorithm will gauge votes on bizjournals.com as well as social engagement on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Google+ during the challenge. Facebook page likes, Twitter followers, LinkedIn connections, and Google followers will not count in the algorithm. Social engagement is defined as LIKES, COMMENTS, and SHARES of a company’s posts by their followers. Therefore, to help boost our social media engagement, please LIKE as many of our posts as you wish – old or new, SHARE our content with your friends, COMMENT on everything!
