Denver Ranks 7th Best City For Moms In United States

In honor of Mother’s Day this month, Redfin – a Seattle-based company that analyzes local real estate market trends – ranked the 10 best cities and 15 top neighborhoods in the United States for moms. Both Denver and Evergreen ranked among the best. Revealed in this week’s Denver Business Journal the findings were based on homes for sale across 25 metro areas around the country that are close to parks, shopping, libraries, and have a hot tub. Los Angeles was found to be the most mom-friendly city where 12.5 percent of homes for sale were located near a park. No.7 Denver made the list with 14.6 percent of homes for sale near a park, 1.6 close to a library, and 8 percent with convenient shopping. Evergreen ranked No.15 on the list for top mom-friendly neighborhoods, where 11 percent of the homes are near a park and 10 percent have a hot tub. With Mother’s Day right around the corner, now is the perfect time for a temperature check. Perhaps a mid-year move is just what the doctor ordered?
